Some people might not like being a landlord and don't want to pay for a property manager and some people might love it.I my self love it, there's nothing like getting those checks the first week of the month :-).

I will also probably just use a property management company to play landlord (possibly http://www.hallmarkrentals.com/) I was also thinking of just living in it for a year to save money as well.

I would like to speak with the landlord to find out about the current tenants and to talk about the possibility of owner financing, and I would like to get some kind of application and list of previous residences from the current tenants, but the real estate agent says I can't speak directly to either of them - I'm still learning about the etiquette involved.
