Now as a home owner in a B+ neighborhood with a large family, the difference of $50 is a drop in the bucket with a family of 7 but back then I wouldn't have even considered the unit I rented if it were $50/mo more.

I always look at issues like this as a "what can I do that is different to achieve a deal where other's wouldn't".

I'm a multi-laundromat and have greatly benefited from the cash flow laundromats can bring and the potential equity gains you can achieve by owning the real estate the laundromat is on.

Maybe on a good deal here and there, but not if you’re trying to achieve scale  

I can tell you that having a leader who has already achieved what you are trying to obtain makes the path much smoother with less mistakes.

@Brian Van Pelt I understand that it makes sense to think of me as a tenant but I am not certain how this helps me achieve the "good deal" numbers since I will not be paying myself to live there I would still paying the lender and I feel like I would still have a negative cash flow.
