Hi Jordan,I agree with Nicole, Condos can look attractive initially, but you have to do your due diligence, There are a lot more potential costs that are out of your control from COA fees, special assessments, violations, etc. than a SFR or small multi family.

You could have negotiated with your agent requesting that they lower their commission to help make the deal more attractive to the HUD Agent, but this its not common practice, and would probably be at least a little insulting to your agent.

I'm not sure how long these homes have been sitting vacant however you will be taking them as is, closing quickly, keeping the homes in the park, advertising these homes to attract a good deal of foot traffic through the park that may help sell other homes, and also attract good buyers that will bring up the value of this community.
