Hi @Parker Mott, there's no issue for you to do what you're envisioning, though many of the Real Estate service providers (Realtors, lawyers, mortgage agents, etc.) you'll deal with are going to give you a hard time for being to creative.

If the contract has not stated for that the writer did not specify the letters should be sent out or that there is a contingency with literally going to the tenants you might have to wait until after closing to do with the tenant.
