I think each unit has some unique characteristics which make them desirable.I've seen 2BR units listed in the 19th close to mine that I wouldn't pay $700 for, so the 19th isn't necessarily an automatic ticket to higher rents.

Maybe it depends on the individual asset mgr....sometimes they don't have a value and just bid the FJ, and sometimes they bid a reasonable number. 

But like others have said sometimes there are savvy or affluent individuals who are looking to liquidate for one reason or another. 

I'd recommend talking to a few agents to find one that is investor friendly and understands the unique needs of investors.  

I know this is vague and subject to individual deals but some examples and explanations would be awesome.  

I would say the best advice is to listen to those who have invested TK to share their experiences with individual providers and what they did or did not like about the TK purchase process.

I printed my letters as well as envelopes that all look handwritten without having to painstakingly hand write each individual one.
