No, just inconsiderate.The fact that a borrower is left hanging without explanation is certainly in bad form, however I'll bet that the BP Pro made a concious decision that there was no benefit yo continuing conversation and chose to bail, rather than tell @Stephen Anthony what might be painful feedback.

If you rent to them you are betting that a) they are good money managers and b) that they finally will get a job when the money runs out, as it inevitably will if they plan to use the inheritance to pay current bills.
