Is it a good idea to sell notes? I'm thinking about doing some notes. Do people prefer green notes or seasoned notes? Is it a good idea to find people in or out of state to buy my notes?

I am based in Dallas and I am a note buyer. There are others here as well. I respectfully disagree with @Mel Griffin. His response that buying notes is more risky than buying tax deeds is obviously an uneducated one. Purchasing notes are extremely profitable and safe as long as you conduct proper and thorough due diligence - just like with a tax deed.

@Jasmine Wilkes I typically buy non-performing notes, but do pick up performing notes from time to time, so I would be happy to see your inventory. However to address your original question as to what we typically want to see in terms of seasoning - most note buyers will require at least 6 months of on time payments evidenced by a licensed servicer to buy a note. I prefer at least 9 months. message me privately if you want to discuss.
