Fort Worth, Austin ?

I just left Fort Polk last month (I was with 3rd BDE).

I'm somewhat uneducated when it comes to rentals, flipping has been my forte' for 15 years, but I'm looking to move into the buy-and-hold type properties.

Thank you in advance, We are using Rentec Direct for our property management and we like it, but payment processing is handled by Forte and we are less happy with them.

Basically I'm looking at Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, Fort Worth and Dallas.

The employment driver in the area is the Fort Hood military base -- however, I assume most soldiers would rather live on base than rent apartments, so tenants may simply work on base or in surrounding town@Josh Green A property that is a good investment including management costs is a requirement for me.

I live in Fort Worth, TX.

Full time Fort Lauderdale real estate agent  here, but I travel a lot to Miami since I have rental properties that I manage over there.

It depends on what you are looking for, but if you look at more rural areas, I not talking about 50k homes fixed up in the middle of nowhere, but you can but a house in fort worth Texas for 100k in the current market.

I have my eyes aimed at San Antonio, Dallas, and Fort Worth but I was hoping to hear from what knowledgeable people within the area have to say.
