I’ve tried searching for people who have been neighbors to their tenant but haven’t seen anything yet.If you have experience in this I’d love to hear how you handled the relationship of tenant/neighbor.

This is such a loaded question @Jon Greves.The first thing I would do is read the posts in this forum.

Consider renting a furnished house that includes the amenities you want to offer.

This way, even if the monthly payment remains the same, the amount you pay towards principal each month goes up.

I was debating this as well, but since this area is not a really hot market I wasn't sure if starting the price off low would work to create a bidding war or not.
