When I was green ( first couple years of deals and partnerships).It was scary at best. 

I would consider reading Long Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene and then finding a market better suited for long-term investments.

For example, investing in a real estate asset worth more than € 500,000 or by investing in a business project.And requirements that are asked to be fulfilled would be: Not to be a EU citizen, to be over 18 years old, the last 5 years have no criminal record, have medical insurance, (it can be private in Spain), have proof of sufficient funds, and after the investment, provide the documentation that proves it.Due to its simplicity and ease of obtaining a golden visa, Spain stands out from the rest of the EU countries, since it is a paradise not only for its geographical, natural and climatological beauty, but also a paradise for GOLDEN VISA.

The core 4 is David Greene’s strategy for long-distance and made up of a realtor, contractor, property manager, and lender.
