Newbie looking to connect with buy and hold investors

Hi all, I am new to real estate investing and BP. I have been investing in a private note over the last year and my goal for 2021 is to buy a duplex rental property. I'm in the learning phase and having a hard time deciding on a market to invest in. I would love to connect virtually with real estate investors and/or groups in my area (Portland, OR).

Hi Victoria!  I have you tried looking through the market insights data that BP put together?  That may help you narrow down based on your own criteria.  If you are interested in out of state investing, parts of Ohio and Kansas city both do well for small multifamily.  There are fewer small multifamilies available in my market (south carolina).
