Lots of knowledgeable folks on here, and lots of free education to be had from BP as well.

As for myself, I think I owe it to myself to at least educate myself on out of state investing...

At BP, you can access free education information and network with other investors as well.

Stumbled upon this place trying to research a company after attending one of their Real Estate Seminars because I'm skeptical and I like to do my research before diving into something I know little about and tossing my money at them for "education" that may or may not pan out.

Not only can you network with other investors and comment on the forums about real estate topics, you can also access free online educational materials such as courses and videos.

Currently, I listen to podcasts and will be attending an Renauts to continue my real estate education.

@Austin Steed In addition to COREE, if you want to connect with other investors, there is a FREE landlording meeting this Thursday, May 26th, at Tommy's Pizza on Dublin-Granville (between Sawmill and Riverside) that features education (a Q&A session geared to newbies for general real estate investing and landlording as well as a featured speaker) and networking and has a good mix of newbies and experienced investors.

It has everything you need from networking with other investors to accessing free information such as online videos and educational courses.
