You've probably noticed that there is no really good reputation system on the Internet for people, companies, etc. -- the reason for that is that as the pool of users grows (both those being assigned reputation and those seeking it), the incentive and likelihood of someone figuring out how to rig the system increases.Sure, you could probably do this small scale (a few contractors in a local market), but if you try to scale it up, you'll run into some major obstacles.
