Hello, everyone! I received an initial welcome email from Mr. Turner and I am thrilled to be part of this great community and wealth of knowledge. I will certainly get my profile updated as soon as I can but for now I just wanted to get the initial "ice breaker" task completed. My initial desire to become a real estate agent was in December 2012 was I was going through the process to purchase my first home. During the process, I have this thought of, "I can do this" resonate in my mind as I believed I had what it takes to assist people to achieve their dreams of home ownership. I believe that real estate has a limitless capacity for success due largely in part of two groups of people: (1) Those selling their houses and (2) Renters that grew tired of renting. I am scheduled to begin online classes with Allied on the 7th of this month. I selected Allied for a few reasons: (1) Online classes are better suited to my schedule as I am required to travel from time to time in my present occupation as a DoD Intelligence contractor and (2) Allied honored my VA Education Benefits. It is very encouraging and motivating at the same time to be part of a team and community of real estate agents and share knowledge, experience, and wisdom that I learn with them. My mindset is to work hard at all times, not to get rich. I am people focused and as a result, I know that money cometh. I know that continued real estate education (post-licensing) is critical for being a successful real estate agent. My work ethic can be described as a bit OCD-ish as I am very mission and task-oriented. I do not have any experience at all when it comes to marketing. I know that we live in a digital and technological age and nothing is as fast as the Internet. I am excited about becoming a real estate agent as it is an area that I never fathomed me being part of. At this point of the process, I do not know what I do not know and have just been a sponge for information. I know that intuition and adaptability about real estate will come over the course of time as my concern is to ensure that I am "nurtured" with the right foundation and developing an understanding and awareness of how the real estate business works through sound ethics. May the Lord bless thee and keep thee.

I sometimes succumb to the strong gravitational pull of Five Guys Burgers in Belton on i35. If I bought a franchise I'd be in big trouble.
