Do you use inspection software, if so, which one, and how do you like it?

Hi folks, I'm a software engineer trying to brainstorm and evaluate financial products that landlords would find helpful.

I am currently finishing up college while working as IT/Software support in NYC.

There are other softwares out there.

Is there a xls, calculator or software program that you use to evaluate opportunities?

I personally think using a CPA instead of tax software is worth the investment. 

This might be wishful thinking but was exploring the possibility of making some money learning about real estate investing while I also pursued my career as a software developer.Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We're seeking some canned software for managing leads, chart rendering, and general inbound marketing stuff.  

Our formal training to get our license covers none of it, furthermore mortgage software is notoriously buggy when it comes to real estate investor calculation of DTI, and honestly it's possible to go an entire career as a loan officer without learning to do it right.
