Getting in cabinets and counters, you will be dealing with the cabinet installers, counter installers, may end up with electrician and plumbing too.  

A bad BRRR reno is a perfect example of this where the reno has great finish work but plumbing, electric, etc. 

The reason is, the electrical and plumbing can then proceed doing finishes, cabinet install, backsplash install, vanity install, bathroom lighting install ... as the rest of the crew then tapes, muds, paints the rest of the house.

I remodeled the bathroom completely from floor to stall, new floors, new paint, new vanity, new sink, new mirror, new hanging rods, new tile, even the plumbing was replaced.

The property is currently gutted, and the plumbing and electrical have both been roughed in, and framing has been done, so the scope of work is pretty clear and does not really leave much room for decisions about what should be completed and what should not be completed.The first bid came in at $67,000 and the second one came in at $119,000.   

I've had HVAC units and hot water heaters replaced, plumbing repairs, termite damage, structural issue with a porch, not to mention smaller things that add up.

Hi, I have been working in and around real estate for the last 6 years as a landlord, contractor(flooring, painting, trim, light plumbing, light electric, trim work, drywall repair), air bnb manager, and I have consulted a few clients on properties they were going to buy.

The room I want to convert to a kitchen shares a wall with the bathroom sink so there’s plumbing right where it’s needed.
