No offense, but it's not a comprable analogy, You can check all the refs, bonding etc.all you want but you never know if your contractor is one paycheck away or one day away from the street.

As for the supposedly offensive comments by @Bill Gulley you guys need to get a grip.

I am the recipient here and it's just like when dealing with harassment for example.........you may not think something is offensive but it's how it's received by the individual.

I think that when a seller understands that your offer is financially driven, it tends not to be viewed as offensive.
