Eviction/Moral Guidance
I have a property in which the rent has always been current, but it is now two days late. The boyfriend was found guilty today of two felonies and is awaiting sentencing with no bail.
Now his girlfriend and two-month-old son are the only ones in the house. However, I know that they have no real way of paying the rent, and I will have to evict them sooner or later, so today I was planning on calling my service to serve the three-day...but then I hesitated. If it was just the girlfriend, I wouldn't have a problem. But with the kid...and not a child or even a toddler but a two-month-old...I feel bad...
Should I give them a couple weeks to figure something out?
Or just nip it in the bud and serve the notice tomorrow?
Thanks!
