Also with HOAs and co-op boards, I've met some of the dumbest people on the face of the planet trying to get on and run things....unless you happen to get really lucky and get a good group. 

Lastly, I have more formal education then actual real estate experience (first rental was in 2011) with a  bachelor's degree in Facility & Property Management from BYU (might be the coolest major on the planet) and an MBA from the University of Texas. 

It would be hard to compare to anywhere else except places like Palos Verdes, Malibu and La Jolla...and that is about it on the entire planet earth.
