Professional Facility Manager transitioning to Professional Landlord

Hello everybody!  I'm Nathan Lenahan and I have been reading Bigger Pockets for a few years and am finally getting involved in the local real estate community and trying to participate on Bigger Pockets!  Plus the Bigger Pockets podcasts have been very motivating to be more active here - so here I am!

I am in the transition phase of moving from full time employment at a corporate job to working my property management company full time alongside my other real estate investments - I currently have two flips under contract.  I just started working nights in an effort to focus on real estate during the day!  My partner has his notice in with his company to start real estate full time in May 1st - we are very excited!

My partner and I work in the Dallas Fort Worth area focusing on SFRs with an intention to move up into commercial multifamily.    Our company is called Redleg Property Group and we are currently only managing 9 homes but hope to start adding a lot more as we begin full time.

Lastly, I have more formal education then actual real estate experience (first rental was in 2011) with a  bachelor's degree in Facility & Property Management from BYU (might be the coolest major on the planet) and an MBA from the University of Texas. I am excited to grow with the Bigger Pockets and hopefully meet some fellow investors in the DFW metroplex.

I look forward to our conversations!
