Over the next 3 years the city has plans to start requiring energy efficient upgrades to all rental properties, such as low flush toilets, LED lighting, efficient heat and cooling, etc. in order to maintain your landlord permit.

Potential repairs1 General housework and maintenance, very hard to gauge from photos alone but the home appears to be in wonderful condition, there may be heat loss from the fireplace going on, the bathtub upstairs may be lending itself to some leaking and therefore flooring issues / water issues23Thoughts: This is a wonderful home that I wouldn’t mind picking up if it weren’t already sold and off market.

Some of these apartments even have heat pump/heating and cooling... so the 4 cold months of New England, I get a good sized electric bill... but evens out the rest of the year with small electric bills.

A caveat to the laundry idea is that, while the electric has been split off, the heat and HW has not.
