If you're still not sure, call the county clerk or even go in and talk to a representative to get case numbers involving unlawful detainers (court language for evictions).

Maybe being involved with the bigger pockets community is just the help I need.

My experience has shown that if you create win-win situation for all parties involved and you’re transparent in what you’re doing, more often than not, you’ll have a deal.

Gabe, I used to be involved with the Property Owners association who did a lot of lobbying. 

Would a title company have the entire list of transfers for a particular county or city, or would they only have the properties they were involved in. 

If you have a great deal, you can work it so you have very little of your own money involved.

I hope to ultimately be involved in owning my own properties & being involved in some flips.

I hesitate to involve family with money matters even though a lending partnership could potentially benefit both sides -  I just prefer to keep that separate.
