Finding sold listings to learn a market

I hope this is the correct place to list this question....

I'd like to start trying to look at sold properties in my area each day to get an idea of what prices things are going for. Other than the MLS does anyone have a good source to find this info?

thanks,

Brandon

Interesting. In wake county NC, attorneys only release funds after recording. Likewise, brokers 'transfer' possession only after documents are recorded. Of the 8 transactions we have done this year, all were submitted electronically by the closing attorney. The property cards, on the other hand... they may be delayed for days or weeks.
