@Quincy Roundtree my biggest recommendation is to pick a neighborhood, hopefully one with a lot of 2-4 unit homes, figure out, view every property and get to know the area.

Not having the job plus the credit score is an issue.The rent board would view both as being original tenants, lease or not, so both would need to be on the lease.
