Looking for a $700K residential 15-30 year loan. I'm self employed and can put down 20-30%. Not looking for headaches from the normal bank loans which I probably can't get anyway. Lost many investment properties in 2008/09 so bad credit, etc. I've been paying $3200 per month rent for the last 5 years in a $1M+ home. Please let me know if you have any input, thank you! David

I would call around and talk to some of the architects that have been building in Boulder County lately. See what they/their clients have done for the loan side. I'm assuming you bought in unincorporated county. I'll be curious to see how long it takes you to get final approval from the county to build. Some of the architects I've talked to over the past year took over 2 years before they got the go ahead from the county to start building.
