San Francisco first time home buyer

Hello. My name is Derek. I am a 34 years old and am looking to invest in my first property in the Bay Area in the the next 6 months to a year (working on improving my credit score first). In the mean time, I would like to learn as much as I possibly can before I start to seriously look at homes. So I am currently in the market for an experienced real estate investment mentor who lives in the Bay Area. I work 30 to 40 hours a week so definitely have plenty of time to contribute to helping this persons business in return.
