I have decided to register here for several reasons, and they are as follows; graduating from Rutgers University in 2013 with a BA in Economics, I have steadily pursued a career in real estate, specifically development, with some success in internships and contracted positions, although present day very little success in fulfilling a 'career'.

I am interested in purchasing student condos around university area around Provo, UT.Since I don't have any cash saved yet, I am thinking the best entry point is investing 401k money in real estate...I am trying to decide whether to invest the $140,000 401k money into a self-directed IRA and get a non-recourse loan...or just pull it all out, pay 10% fee and taxes, and be free to get conventional financing...Big decisions!

I agree with @James Austin, putting myself in your shoes, I would start out with some financial literacy fundamentals like Dave Ramsey's financial Peace University and then follow up with some fun and creative activities.

This is in the Southeast area of Houston, TX. 10 mins from where the Houston Texans play at NRG stadium and 10 mins from the University of Houston.We found this property on the MLS and were able to make a low offer and negotiate further until we got the right purchase price.
