I would be looking at small to medium sized multi family, which seem to behave very similarly to the duplexes that I like to buy.

I'm over in the NW Orlando area of Apopka, not too far from you in Tampa, so I'd imagine things are similar in the two areas with how GCs operate. 

A good BIC will help you start your career and introduce you to some agents and other business contacts with similar interests to yours.

We have about a 50/50 split with our funding in the stock market and in real estate so we'd be looking to maintain a similar balance moving forward.I am okay with putting off gains until further down the road, I just don't know if the expected rental appreciation over time is enough to offset the tax-free equity we can apply towards something that will pay us now. 

After looking at comps on Zillow that sold in the last 6 months, it looks like similar properties sold for $135 to $140.
