(I may have inspired my mom to jump on the future investor bandwagon)She used an FHA loan on her first home many years ago, but that loan is no longer being paid off.

I actually live in hamburg just south of buffalo and my opinion doesn't mean much but some of this growth has inspired me to look into REI.

Educate yourself as much as possible, but also don't forget to add some inspiration to your reading and make sure you read/listen to rich dad poor dad.

Don't listen to music in your car, listen to motivation, inspirational and educational CD's...they will pay dividends in the long-term. 

The Kiyosaki books are great for inspiration, but just remember that they are all based on the American RE markets and tax codes.
