I'm a new member to BP and just recently moved to Denver, CO and renting to survey different areas before potentially buying a primary residence and househacking it to offset mortgage costs.

Attend local REI meetings and start networking. 

Several groups in DFW will try very hard to sell you things if you attend.

Also, the Best Ever Conference 2020 if you can make it up to Denver.

The best place to start is attending local meetups (you can find these in the network page) and/or contacting and participating with your local REIA.

My experience is limited to reading and attending seminars, its time to invest in my first property.

I am attending my first Milwaukee REIA meeting this Tuesday so I look forward to meeting some fellow BP members.  

I attended a local homebuying class that she hosted and met with her the week after for a one-on-one goal/strategy session.
