New-ish to Bigger Pockets and 1st Time Posting

Hello BP Community,

I started listening to the Bigger Pockets podcasts last summer and joined after my first webinar. I am still learning and developing a plan/direction for my 1st deal. I invested in a development project a few months ago that is expected to start paying quarterly returns in Q3 of 2020 so I guess you I could consider that my 1st deal but I am looking more towards a flip or BRRR opportunity as an official 1st. I am attending my first Milwaukee REIA meeting this Tuesday so I look forward to meeting some fellow BP members.

I am excited to begin my journey in REI and developing my path to financial freedom through real estate. I am in Oconomowoc focusing on the greater Milwaukee area or possibly out in the direction of Madison.

They always say on the podcast to put get in the forums and put out that first post as a newbie so here I am.

I am looking to learn so any advice or direction for a newbie is welcome.

Cheers!
