In their minds, they probably think there is something wrong with it, and gives them confidence to negotiate a lower price. 

(thinking confident like it’s already a deal) lol

I've been in Lisbon for around 4 years - initially travelling between London and Lisbon before settling.  

They sucked frankly and it conditions the agent to act like a monkey for people instead of acting like a confident realtor who knows their value.

I have lived in both places but if comparing price and travel time I don't know which one to decide on.

Are they an executive, an employee on 6-month business travel, etc.?

Sounds like a cool idea though...the only place I've seen them is outside the US on Travel channels and such.

I have had travel nurses, medical students, and military members stay for multiple months in some of my STRs. 

I also had more confidence, more resources in terms of private lenders who were willing to lend to me because I now had a track record, and good contractors.By running my own marketing, I had access to a lot more opportunities and was able to start supplementing the cost of my acquisitions through wholesaling and the occassional flip which in turn expanded my network.

That, combined with a couple other factors, has me confident that it will get the top rent in the area for any multifamily unit!
