Yes, we're here on an investor visa and have acquired a property in Kyoto, Shimogyo-ku near a tourist hotspot.

Suprisingly they've been around some time but tend to be heavily fragmented due to regions (urban, rural & tourist destinations), target audience / demographics,...

We are just a little farm with friendly goats, driving distance to the tourist attractions. 

I live in another tourist area here in PR (Fajardo) and things are starting to pick up a bit.

Looks like it is trying to develop and/or has a tourist base...

Now, it's all grown up with fancy restaurants and trendy music festivals and pricey tourist traps.  

We talked about it as a b and b but there isn't a big tourist presence there.  

Then unless your in the top tourist cities you vacancy rates are around 50% minus five days.

I did some test ads for renting out the 911s and no probs here in LA, dudes from Europe, tourist etc is like non stop out here.

I appreciate it.A bit more info on what I'm thinking... our town is around 2600 people, growing tourist place, but in need of affordable housing for both year-round and seasonal residents.
