Real estate agent/ Uber driver? For supplemental income.
I just finished my pre licensing course to become a real estate sales agent. I am now aware of the need to budget money in between sales, to attempt to protect you from being broke. I currently work 2 jobs. Once I pass my state exam, have a broker, etc., I want to continue to work one job to make sure I have back up income in between sales. But I don't want to be held back from succeeding by being unavailable %50 of the time.
I am also a registered Uber driver. What are your thoughts on being a Real Estate agent and an Uber driver? I think it would be an awesome option of making supplemental income and having a "job" that would allow me to take a call and be available at a moment's notice. I would in no way pitch to every rider that gets in my car. But when natural conversation comes into play, as it does the majority of the time, I think it would be a great way to protect myself financially and further my success as an agent.
