@Paul Stamm While most county auditor sites are a good starting point for zoning, always call the actual local zoning or building department to confirm they actually allow what the county says it allows.

Does anyone have referrals for a Grocery store auditor? 

When the auditor stamped the No Change Audit with a rubber stamp I left my CPA's office because I was running my company with 60 employees and was working in the field on construction projects.

Also by doing this it will create more federal jobs, because you will need auditors to audit the businesses to insure every last cent goes to the employees and the businesses cannot line their books with free money to prop up their numbers. 

Typically you can access public info from your county auditor website to find lists of properties to skip trace then cold call.

This can also be for second homes so in the case you buy this second home and move into and renting out the first the interest would be deductible if I understand the guidelines correct but you should ask a CPA because in my former career I was an auditor, and not a tax accountant.Hope this helps!

I go to the county's auditor site and typically they'll have a search function for property types.
