How to determine property taxes & insurance when purchasing

Certain Carl
Posted

Hello community!

I'm using this online app: https://www.cashflowestimator.com to calculate a rental property's cashflow. I wanted to know how to accurately determine a property's taxes & insurance to get a more correct result.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Carl,

A great place to find the property taxes for a property is on the county auditors (assessors) website. Just google _______ county auditor for the county that the property is located in. You can usually search a property by owner name; address; parcel number etc. Insurance estimate is just a phone call to your current insurance agent. Good luck!
