This large 3/2 home with a large bonus room is nearly 100 years old, but it is still in good condition, and has been updated with new HVAC, insulation, electrical (installed by previous owner), flooring and paint, windows, and kitchen backsplash + counters.

We recently purchased a duplex and had a few electrical issues and a few windows that didn’t latch put in our amendment before we agreed to purchase.

We purchased our first home, not really thinking about investing, but lucked out with a home that the previous owners had installed a second kitchen in the basement.

Kitchen, both bathrooms were updated along with minor cosmetic updates.

It was an issue I was aware of and willing to accept.Our kitchen sink had been draining slowly since moving in, so I removed the p-traps, stuck a shop-vac in the trap arm to clean out as much sludge as I could, and reinstalled new traps.

I would love to review both appraisals; I deal with this all the time - as an agent and as an investor.Our single family rental properties are very similar, same age, size, same finishes, same kitchen, same flooring - we have a standard.

We also replaced the roofing for most of the units, cleaned up the properties, replaced windows throughout, and did repairs in several apartments.PHASE 2 (underway): We will either slowly or quickly be doing total gut remodels on and furnish the remaining 5 units.

Basically everything needed replaced except for windows and exterior siding.

The only issue I'am having is trying to figure out what to do with the commercial kitchen/ large dining room, that was setup to serve to the residents.
