I say that having been with both a smaller firm being a jack-of-all-trades, a tax manager in a larger firm's real estate department, and of course managing my own clients.  

Call the local fire department and see if they want to use it for training.

I don't see how it will make any difference assuming the water tests safe depending on your local health department guidelines. 

You'll have to check with your benefits department to see if this is an option for you.  

In the earnings department (your business records), all the costs associated with the purchase set the 'basis' for the investment.
