Could we have a good, old-fashioned, civil debate over Republican and Democrat solutions for economic issues? 

I have a pretty good idea of what to present the investor but since this is my first time doing a real estate deal in this fashion, I wanted to get some advice from the BP community before I execute. 

I lived in Indianapolis for about 7 years now and ride my bike all over the place. 

The downside of that option is there will be some hefty capital requirements to fund the furniture, decor, and other items required because you are essentially furnishing a whole apartment for each unit you plan to use in that fashion.

I'd take it and learn as much as you can and ride it as long as you can

While I think it's truly awesome how many people have been able to build incredible wealth recently by riding the wave of mass real estate appreciation, the tailwinds of historically low interest rates are behind us so I think going with a low risk strategy like house hacking is 100% the best way to get in the game.

I think you need to look at more leads before switching gears as starting local in an expensive market is great because you can ride the appreciation wave.

If the market turns, you'll have sufficient equity to ride it out as opposed to being over leveraged. 

Dont even think about giving your daughter a free ride.

I am very new to real estate investing and would like advice on whether now is the time to invest in a SFH or am whether I am simply riding the wave of FOMO from the crazy rise in home prices and rushing to buy?
