I can go on any online portal and get my apartment deal on their web page to raise money, but that doesn't mean it's any better than if I raise money without the portal.

Hi Chris - I was reading the Alaska Business Monthly magazine and came across an article about Alaska small business financing; specifically a company called Evergreen Business Capital.

Another option: take a couple contractors to lunch or pay them for an hour of time and have them educate you on how to estimate rehab costs.Third option: check out this web site that gives estimated costs for certain projects based on your region.

Test ad in the local paper, Craigslist (if there is a local page for your area), Penny Pincher magazine,...etc. will tell you pretty quickly if there would be demand enough to proceed.
