You have to have the vision to see past the ugly things--whether they're on the inside of the house or on the outside.Once the bushes were trimmed down and we added flowers and flower boxes, it really created a nice curb appeal.

I would like to do a quick flip to other investors (local, out-of-state, overseas) looking to do a rehab and hold/flip...while learning that part of the business, and evolving to that stage later on.The wholesale idea seems great, but I am struggling to understand why I don't find as much information about auction purchases.Barry - In-state for now...I may venture out-of-state once I get more comfortable.Levi - That is great news and congratulations!

I first want to congratulate you on opening an profile here and I am sure you can find pretty much anything you are looking for on this site.

Simple fixes; get rid of the shrubs, add shutters, some flowering plants, some kind of decoration over the garage door - those big stars seem to be popular in suburban areas, one or two patio chairs and a small table on the porch, simple stuff like that can make a big difference.

@Bill Gulley  's post is spot on, but just wanted to add that you seem to be in a fairly good position, yourself, as it sounds like this will be your first home (congratulations!)
