(I’m thinking of something like charging your parents $1/mo rent and writing off all the expenses as a loss against income.)This isn’t one of those snarky responses you sometimes see on BP I seriously want to know as this belief of mine prevented me from making offers to owners who were stuck on their severely over market price.

Side note: Contrary to popular belief, Debt to income does not affect credit score (as the bureaus have no way of monitoring applicant income for the sake of scoring).

Tenant has apparently had issues with repairs in the home (unbeknownst to me, as I've authed every repair to come across from PM) and threatened rent escrow as a means to have repairs properly completed (unbeknownst to me, my belief was that they were completed and properly) then followed through a month later ..
