Looking to expand my team in the Northern Nevada area! 

Hey team, I was in escrow (have since closed) to buy a duplex and the two tenants were in 1 year leases ending in 4 and five months from closing.After closing I get an email from my PM saying, hey btw a new one year lease was signed with one of the tenants.

I had to fire my contractor halfway through my first project and that is when I started going monthly.How did you build your team?

I love to travel and want to be able to do it more often without the tie down of a day to day job, not only for myself but also for my future family.Currently on my journey I am starting to dip my hands into gaining as much knowledge as possible, starting my relationship journey by attempting to build my key team, and preparing a plan that will weather storms.I am a veteran and want to start my journey house hacking and using 0 down VA on a multi-family rental, to eventually move on to more multi-families.I currently live in the North New Jersey area, so if you are around, want to chat, have some ideas, need some ideas (I can be creative at times) let me know!

Area is important, however if your buying out of state the most important component is your team!

I'd also strongly consider getting a CPA on your team.

Communication with different team members such as a realtor, inspector, lender, property manager, an insurance agent becomes overwhelming and difficult to keep a track of emails in an organized manner. every member may have their own portals (dotloop etc )  to keep a track of but it is not from an investor's perspective.
