Anything from painting, construction, flooring, demolition, helping set up an open house, anything RE related, etc that you can do/learn is another step toward a successful future.  

A lot of forum members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.The site has quite a few tools that can be helpful for new members.

The opportunity cost of capital is a very important consideration, especially when a multitude of asset classes are beginning to carry relatively lofty valuations.

That process was relatively simple, it was a HUD home with the bank asking for 130,000 so we simply offered $125,000 and they accepted.

It's a border line scam IMO, but I as relatively new so it would be good to hear the other side of the argument.
