WE were at a pre submission meeting yesterday.so you have the city engineer then public works  the private utl providers land use.. etc etc.. it takes a village to move these things along :)

I'm a 22-year-old college student, majoring in Civil Engineering Architecture.

My name is Dillan Wilson and I'm a freshman at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying mechanical engineering.

My name is Zach, I am an engineer in Portland OR just getting started in the "real world".

.I found out that there are crawl space cracks damage :(I am looking for a professional engineer to estimate the damage/repair costs.- Do you have any recommendation about someone specifically, or for a good website that have some kind of rating for professionals?

I’m very successful and have designed amazing projects and I have a great engineer who handles the structural stamp.

However, depending on project complexity, this puts a huge liability on the Architect/Engineer.

We’ve received a quote from a structural engineer for $35,000 to fix these issues and we will try to get two more quotes from other structural repair companies to see if this deal is even worth the time and money.  

I understand that all trades need to have these but what about the GC or company doing engineering work?  

I did my best and I have been blessed for sure but I feel I can say I really limited myself and my salary by not getting an engineering degree which I had a free  ride to obtain at one point !
