Portland OR Engineer Just Starting Out

Hi Bigger Pockets!

My name is Zach, I am an engineer in Portland OR just getting started in the "real world". I graduated with no knowledge of finances or real estate investing, but I luckily stumbled upon BP and was able to start soaking up knowledge. I hope to be able to continue my learning by reading more post, listening to the podcast, and networking with people in the Portland area!

I currently am interested in starting off with a house-hack on a small multi-family property. I think that would be a great way to start and learn a ton about investing in real estate, being a landlord, and all the things that come along with owning rental properties all while cutting down my living costs significantly.

I am interested in connecting with anyone in Portland to hear about their experience in real estate!
