In lieu of the past posts about people dropping out of college to form their Real Estate business...

I'm curious to know how many of you dropped out and became millionaires?

I'm one of those college dropouts who took the dive head first into the world of Real Estate Investing and now I'm a 1/3 of the way there. I have to say, I'm more than fortunate to be where I am today and I guess I made the right choice. How about you?

I didn’t go to college . I took tech classes in HS and started working manufacturing right out of school . My wife on the other hand went to college and just kept continuing her education . Both of us are at the top of our chosen fields within around 10% of highest paid  in the area . Her yearly income doubled , then tripled mine shortly after she graduated . I can never catch up to her salary because despite having high tech skills and experience I lack the education to go further financially. Anyone considering quiting college needs to seriously sit down and consider long term the effect this can have on your income 10-20-30 years out and do the math . Real estate is great and all but having something to fall back on might be the difference between success and bankruptcy down the road . Real estate is chAnging our economy is changing and those who are not liquid in their abilities and resources will be left behind  . College isn’t for everybody of coarse , but we know the facts and statistically if you have a college degree the salary differences over time speak for themselves . I did my best and I have been blessed for sure but I feel I can say I really limited myself and my salary by not getting an engineering degree which I had a free  ride to obtain at one point !
