Just be aware that some states require yearly fees and/or taxes for LLCs (with California being the worst), and you'll either have to find someone in any state you're not located to be your registered agent or hire one.

Hi Boyd- I work in California for Seven Gables Real Estate- a top brokerage in Orange County, CA.

During this time, I have owned and managed a private portfolio of residential income properties in Carlsbad, California and have accumulated a wealth of landlording knowledge.

Finally in a place to purchase my first home when I came to the realization that it's not easy to live in CA.

So I learn if it was here in California I have relationships with lenders and can get things done.

In general you will have a hard time investing for cash flow in California, New York and Hawaii.
