Tax Accountant/RE Investor from San Diego, CA

Hello BP community! My name is Charlie and I am a seasoned tax accountant and beginner real estate investor. I currently have one rental property in San Diego--a 3 bed 2 bath condo with a 10% cap rate (purchased in mid-2012). I still kick myself for not trying harder to acquire another property around the same time, since appreciation has been awesome in San Diego for the past few years.  I am numbers guy and have experience preparing sales projections calculating the tax implications as well as Section 1031 exchanges. I am looking to network with likeminded investors and continue my real estate education. My goal is to increase the size of my pocket, make it bigger, if you will. I hope to achieve this by building a decent size portfolio of rentals--whether local or out-of-state. Cheers!
