People are so worried about labels that they think they need to wait until they have a certain number or properties to call themselves an investor but I think it is the biggest mindset shift.

Im kinda sick of the "oh so your becoming a slumlord" or "why do you wanna fix toilets", etc.. comments from friends and various people when they hear im investing in rental properties. its like an automatic stigma from people who dont invest in real estate or anything else for that matter beside go to their 9-5 day job.Im sure you guys get them too, whats your response when you get these annoying labels?

I came to the conclusion that real estate investing was how I wanted to be affiliated with the real estate industry, thus labeling myself a real estate investor. 2 years went by and I didn't invest in anything!

Perhaps the one presently labeled "Profile Views" should be "Member Views" or "Member Profile Views".
